Deputy fired after killing ‘dangerous’ dog

A Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputy has been fired after allegedly shooting and killing a dog on Aug. 10 that reportedly had attacked two other dogs on Aug. 9, killing one of them. Cherokee County Deputy Sheriff Alec Wolf was fired after an internal investigation by Sheriff Jerod Clyde and his department. The dog allegedly shot by Wolf was reportedly owned by Austin Johnson of rural Cleghorn...
