Officer Kris Alesch of the Cherokee Police Department displays the department’s new Tasers recently purchased thanks to a $4,000 grant from the Cherokee County Legacy Foundation, represented here by CCLF Chair Tammy Johnson. The company that manufactures Tasers ceased production on those the CPD previously carried as they began to malfunction and it was no longer possible to repair or replace them. ... -

Lois Pingel of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 78 on Monday, July 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eitel and Frieda Mohn.
