Cherokee Public Library recives grant (Local News ~ 10/14/19)
The Cherokee Public Library was honored to receive a $500 grant from the Le Mars Walmart (Supercenter #1625) to further develop our esports team! Our esports team, Kee Control, was formed to teach future ready jobs skills thanks to our Future Ready with the Library grant. Team members in 5-8th grade will soon be able to enjoy the new console and new lesson plans thanks to the award... -

Braves in honoring the flag (Community Sports ~ 10/14/19)
Cherokee youth joined the varsity Braves in honoring the flag prior to the homecoming football game here last week. A large crown attended the game in which the Braves lost to East Sac 56-0.
