Cherokee plant renovation continues; planned April start

The 25th Annual Cherokee County Recognition Banquet will be held Thursday, February 6th at the Little Sioux Event Center in Cherokee. This is an opportunity to recognize outstanding members of our communities for their contributions to our county. Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30PM. You will enjoy music performed by Charlie Leissler, good conversation and a great meal during the dinner hour. Presentation of awards will begin at 6:30PM. Remington Kay Stofferan was born on January 24, 2020 at 1:20 a.m. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 20 inches in length. She has one sister named Zoey Sholty. Cherokee’s rated girls won their 12th game and the Braves exhibited composure in a hard-fought 58-55 win over the Tornadoes here Friday night. The girls; game was a runaway 86-50 win for Cherokee, but the boys’ nightcap was a battle to the bitter end...
