WITCC Trio Student Award for June (Local News ~ 06/03/20)
Morgan Mack of Sheldon has received the WITCC TRIO-Student Support Services Achiever of the Month Award for June. This award recognizes Western Iowa Tech TRIO students for demonstrating qualities of leadership and citizenship while achieving collegiate academic success. Morgan graduated from the Licensed Practical Nursing program on the Cherokee Campus this May 2020 and will be taking the state’s licensure examination in a few weeks. She is an active participant in the TRIO program and was awarded a TRIO College Completion Challenge Grant for her outstanding efforts to pursue academic excellence. Morgan is continuing on this fall in WITCC’s Hybrid Associate Degree in Nursing program to become a Registered Nurse in May 2021.
