Jennifer Feierstein of Cherokee has received the WITCC TRIO-Student Support Services Achiever of the Month Award for October. This award recognizes Western Iowa Tech TRIO students for demonstrating qualities of leadership and citizenship while achieving collegiate academic success. Jennifer began taking online courses in the WITCC Accounting program in the summer of 2019. She has maintained a part-time student status while also owning and operating the second-hand retail business “Jen’s Hidden Treasures” in downtown Cherokee.
