Cherokee football and volleyball fans are pleased to see the Washington High north drive and west parking lot resurfacing project finally completed. Or is it.? The WHS west gym lot contains the only handicap accessible parking on the spacious WHS campus, with three sets of cumbersome, multiple stairs - ADA non-compliant but grandfathered in - leading to the school’s main entrances on the south side, ruling out the possibility of installing handicap parking there...
