WHS football field turf project nears goal

On Saturday, October 24th, some members of the Cherokee Fire Department did training in a structural mobile live burn simulator. Instructors Kevin West and Jim Carpenter from the Milford Fire Department educated the 11 men present for the burn simulation. Friends of the Library are “Wrapping Up” for the Year (Local News ~ 11/02/20)
The Friends of the Library have organized and collected donations from community members, which will be put up for their 21st annual silent auction. Each basket is themed around a book and features a variety of goodies. From toys to blankets, baking supplies to Hawkeyes gear, there is a basket for nearly every interest.
