DES MOINES - The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has named its All -District softball teams. In the Northwest District for Class 1-A, River Valley sophomore Payton Goettsch was the only player selected from the Chronicle Times coverage area. Cherokee Youth Football Camps set (07/22/14)
The Cherokee Youth Football Camp for area youths in grades 3-8 will be from 4-6 p.m. July 29-31at the Cherokee Washington High practice fields. The Cherokee High School Camp will be from 4-7 p.m. August 4-8 at the WHS practice fields. There is no charge for the camps and area youths simply need to show up to participate under the guidance of the WHS football coaching staff.
