The Cherokee Parks & Recreation Department is again sponsoring a FREE youth track meet on April 27th at 5 p.m. at George Hicks Field. Formerly known as the Hershey Track Meet, this meet is now the Live Healthy Iowa Kids Track Championship. With 2015 being the inaugural year for this meet, there will be over 50 communities around Iowa holding regional meets where winners can qualify for the state championship in Marshalltown Iowa on June 13th...
