Storm Lake swimmers compete at Spencer (10/17/14)
SPENCER-The Tornado swimmers swam in a "pinked out" pool here on Monday in a rematch of their recent home meet with Spencer and Algona, and the results were very similar, as expected, but the "Pink Out" event made for a great crowd and several High School principals from the competing teams took a plunge in the pink tinted pool - with a little help from some of their students - to raise money for fighting breast cancer, all in honor of the mother of one of the Spencer swimmers, who is fighting the disease. ...
