Nancy Ellen Peterson and Ryan Gehran Skubis were united in marriage on Saturday, August 7, 2004 during a 6:30 p.m. candlelight ceremony at Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake. The Reverend Duane C. Queen officiated.

Parents of the bride are Robert and Ann Peterson of Aurelia. Parents of the groom are Stan and Jean Skubis of St. Charles, Ill. The bride's grandfathers are Charles Ford of Loveland, Colo. and Howard Peterson of Alta. Grandparents of the groom are Ralph and Edith Ham of Sullivan, Ind. and Frank and Stella Skubis of South Bend, Ind.

Matron of Honor was Sherry Bridgers of Elgin, Ill., friend of the bride. Craig Schuchman of Avon, Colo., friend of the groom, was best man. Ushers were friends Jeffery Cooper and Michael Pelz and the groom's brother Rhett Skubis. Little flower girl was Tatum Settelmyer while Samuel Garabedian was ring bearer.

The bride's personal attendants were friends Jami Willett and Meredith Settelmyer. Guest book attendants were the bride's sisters, Trudy Peterson and Barbara Sherwood. Donna Todd was the flower attendant. Jared, Jill and Austin Rapp served as gift carriers.

Ceremony music was provided by Barbara Wells as organist, Barbara Johnson as soloist, and Rod Shedenhelm on trumpet. The cocktail reception, dinner and dance were held at Siebens Forum Grand Ballroom, Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, with Marlin and Sherry Lode serving as host and hostess.

Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, Nancy and Ryan are no at home in Aurora, Ill. Nancy is the human resources manager for Enterprise Mortgage Corporation in Oak Brook, Ill. Ryan is a Regional Manager for Robert Half International in Chicago.
