Adam Wayne Todd and Cassandra Leigh Anderson were united in marriage on Sept. 4, 2004 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cherokee. Father Armond Bertrand was the Celebrant for the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Ron and Dian Anderson of Aurelia and Wayne and Reta Todd of Holstein. Grandparents of the bride are Rose Mary Westphal and Lawrence and Donna Anderson of Aurelia. Grandparents of the groom are Clarence and Bernice Todd of Holstein.

The bride, escorted by her parents, chose an ivory and rum pink gown designed by Mon Cheri. The strapless neckline of ivory embroidery organza featured hand pattern beading which fell into a princess waistline gown made of rum pink dulciana satin that featured aymmetrical drape tucks with a skirt inset featuring ivory embroidery organza and hand pattern beading. The back of the gown featured an inset of hand pattern beading and ivory embroidered organza. The brides cascading bouquet featured purple agapanthus, ivory roses, white alstro, lavender misty and statice.

Melissa Lucas, sister of the bride of Des Moines served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Krissy Brake, friend of the couple of Cedar Falls, Abby Todd, sister of the groom of Vermillion, S.D., Angie Lake, friend of the couple of Cedar Falls and Amy Huseman, friend of the couple of Sioux City. The matron of honor and bridesmaids wore identical floor length gowns of Vicotorian lilac whisper chiffon. They featured rhinestone accents with a whisper chiffon drape. They carried hand tied bouquets featuring flowers from the bride's bouquet. Sydney Herrig, cousin of the bride of Webb, served as flower girl. She wore a Victorian lilac floor length gown similar to that of the bride's gown. She carried individual flowers which she presented to wedding guests as she made her way up the isle.

Toby Griffin, cousin of the groom, was to serve as best man. He was serving our country in Iraq and unable to attend. Standing in for him was Justin Anderson, brother of the bride of West Des Moines. Groomsmen were Nate James, friend of the couple and Andy Reisdorph, friend of the couple, Nick Aeschliman, friend of the couple all of Cedar Falls and Levi Griffin, cousin of the groom of Holstein. The honor of ring bearer was held by Kory Van Oort, friend of the couple of Aurelia. Wedding guests were ushered by Andy Todd, brother of the groom, Austin Todd, brother of the groom both of Holstein, Gary Lucas, brother-in-law of the bride of Des Moines and Joel Hustedt, friend of the couple of Galva.

The groom chose a Perry Ellis tuxedo that included a satin collar and inset lapel. He wore an ivory vest with a long Windsor tie and a white lay down collar shirt with black piping. The groomsmen, ushers and ring bearer also wore identical to that of the groom with heather vests and long Windsor ties.

Music was provided by Amber Anderson, cousin of the bride, with Amy Yearous, friend of the couple as vocalist. Jess Wageman, friend of the couple, served as lector as Angie Husman, Ben Hogan, and Eric Sonksen, all friends of the couple served as gift bearers during the wedding ceremony. Serving as Personal attendant was Angie Husman, friend of the couple. Registering the couple's guests were Missy and Rachel Foley, cousins of the groom.

Following the ceremony, for members of the bridal party was provided by the Gomaco Wedding Trolley. Tom and Julie Bohnenkamp with Brad and Julie Yearous, both friends of the couple served as host and hostesses at the reception and dance held at Western Iowa Tech in Cherokee.

The couple now works and resides in Waterloo.
