More than 50 vendors will be displaying their wares and supplying valuable consumer information to visitors at the 11th annual Chronicle Times Home Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 5, in the Western Iowa Tech Community College Conference Center in Cherokee.
Representatives from several industries will be present to offer advice, latest technological advances, and new and valuable products for the home and yard, including home design and construction, home decorating, landscaping, yard care, fencing and decks, home medical services, sunrooms, financing, and much, much more!
Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for visitors touring the large facility chock full of more than 50 vending booths featuring the latest advances in their respective business and industry.
Among the demonstrations slated for this year's show include:
9:15 a.m. - "Building Memories" with Nancy Nelson, Creative Memories.
10 a.m. - Rhoadside Blooming House, new annuals for 2005, container gardening ideas, soil preparation and planting tips.
11:30 a.m. - Matt Barstad, president of Iowa Chapter of American Institute of Building Design, "Designing Your Lifestyle," advice for designing your new home or remodeling project.
1 p.m. - Matt Barsted, second presentation.
2 p.m. Rhoadside Blooming House, second presentation.
The annual Chronicle Times Home Show attracted record crowds in 2004 and the forecast is to better those records in 2005.
