Central Bank donates $100,000 to aquatic project

Central Bank donated $100,000 to the Aquatic Center/Gillette Park project.

The aquatic center in Gillette park will include a zero-depth pool with water umbrellas and slides, lap pool, new bath house and concession stand. The park renovation project will include upgrading play structures and the basketball court, a walking trail, shelter and landscaping. The anticipated completion of the $3.6 million project is the summer of 2007.

"We're very excited to provide support to the Cherokee Family Aquatic Center and Gillette Park project," said Chuck Wulfsen, Central Bank president, "We believe the project will benefit the entire community as well as attract more families to the area."

Central Bank gives financial support to more than 75 non-profit organizations in Northwest Iowa.

Central Bank serves more than 20,000 accounts through locations in Cherokee, Spirit Lake, Storm Lake and Sioux City.
