Triple winner Emily Haselhoff, in age 8 and under girls, paced the Clippers, claiming first place in the 50 freestyle, 25 butterfly, and 25 breaststroke.
Double winners for Cherokee were, age 8 and under boys - Mitchell West, 50 freestyle, 25 butterfly. Age 9-10 girls - Megan Hummel, 25 backstroke, 25 freestyle. Age 9-10 boys - Brett Walker, 25 butterfly, 25 freestyle.
Age 11-12 girls - Emily Cook, 50 breaststroke, 100 IM. Age 11-12 boys - Jakob Hummel, 50 freestyle, 100 IM.
Age 13-14 girls - Sophia Haselhoff, 50 backstroke, 100 IM. Age 15-18 boys - Charlie Ganger, 50 breaststroke, 50 freestyle.
Single winners for Cherokee included Alex Winchell, 25 backstroke, and Adam Cedar 25 breaststroke, age 8 and under boys. Jaden Lux, 50 freestyle, in age 9-10 boys. Jared Roethler, 50 backstroke, age 11-12 boys. Jon Meylor, 100 freestyle, age 15-18 boys.
Relay winners in the 100 medley included Annie Hingtgen, Kaely Hummel, Emily Haselhoff and Mikki Hinkhouse in girls age 8 and under; and Derrick Stowell, Alex Winchell, Mitch West and Jordan Taylor in boys age 8 and under.
Also, Brett Walker, Alex Mauer, Jaden Lux and Jordan Taylor in boys age 9-10 100 medley; Kaitlyn Keith, Jessica Cook, Liz Dawson and Emily Cook in girls age 11-12 200 medley; Sophia Haselhoff, Elisabeth Letsche, Aurora Buschkamp and Paige Stieneke in girls age 13-14 200 medley; Mitch West, Derrick Stowell, Adam Cedar and Alex Winchell in boys age 8 and under 100 freestyle.
Also, Nathan Fowler, Jaden Lux, Blake Booth and Alex Mauer in boys age 9-10 100 freestyle; Kaitlyn Keith, Jessica Cook, Emily Cook and Liz Dawson in girls age 13-14 freestyle; and Alex Peck, Jakob Hummel, Jared Roethler and Brett Wallker in boys age 11-12 freestyle.
"The kids did a great job for their first meet," said Clippers coach Julie Hummel. "The weather has not cooperated for practice and they have really been working hard under cold conditions. After this meet, we found some things that we need to continue to work on to get better."
