One of Neil Simon's brightest stars in his large repertoire of plays, "Rumors" is the rib-tickling story of four couples gathering to celebrate the 10th Wedding Anniversary of their good friends, Charley and Myra Brock. Unfortunately, Charley has been shot and Myra is nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, the friends endeavor to keep the information from leaking to the press and police, while trying to figure out what has actually happened. Charley has taken valium and is out cold. Myra still hasn't returned, no one actually knows what happened, and now the police have turned up!
What story will the mad-capped group of friends invent to keep the police away from Charley until they can find out the truth?
The answers all come at the end of the funny, funny show, during which the audience will be delighted with the innuendo and rumors abounding about Charley, Myra and each of their friends.
The local cast performing in "Rumors" include Andy Linn, Jennifer Bechtel, Lisa Hunter, Nick Woltman, Carolyn Wiese, Gene Galvin, Dave Zelle, Jackie Courtright, Wayne Morris, and Nikki Thunder. The show is directed by Penny Pingrey.
