The subtle changes are quite impressive as Judy's Hallmark Shop in beautiful downtown Cherokee expands into the future with new products, increased inventory, and an on-going interior remodeling project designed to create wide open spaces for shoppers' convenience.
Owner Russ Harvey and his staff have been hard at it tearing out interior walls and installing attractive display cases to better show the growing array of merchandise above and beyond the store's staples of Hallmark greeting cards, bridal registry, and Precious Moments figurines.
Among the many newer items Judy's Hallmark Shop now offers are a wide variety of housewares, cheery ceramic Christmas merchandise, Yankee Candles, acrylic paper weights, fine crystal, bridal place settings, suncatchers, wind chimes, yard art, picture frames, purses and wallets, jewelry, and timeless Hallmark Hall of Fame Movies.
"We're constantly adding new items to our inventory and by expanding our display areas we can offer shoppers more and more merchandise to view at their leisure in a convenient, comfortable setting," said Harvey, who purchased the business in 2004 from longtime owner/operators Gary and Judy Jones of Cherokee.
Harvey, who formerly managed the Cherokee Alco Store, brings several years of retail experience and marketing to Judy's Hallmark Shop at 205 W. Main St., in the heart of Cherokee's historic Entertainment and Cultural District in downtown Cherokee.
