Nikki Ann Harder and Joshua Jacob Fordyce were united in marriage on June 11, 2005 at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca, Neb. Pastor Ron Youngerman officiated. Parents of the couple are Kevin and Teri Harder of Dakota City, Neb. and Mark and Cathy Fordyce of Aurelia. Grandparents of the bride are Clair and Vera Hamar of Jackson, Neb. and Ralph and Betty Stark of Ponca, Neb. Grandparents of the groom are Clara Marie and the late Darrell Porsch of Storm Lake and Eldon Fordyce of Aurelia. Great grandmothers of the groom are Margaret Zweifel of Storm Lake, and Clara Porsch of Sioux City.

Maids of honor were Shawna Simmons and Shelby Terrell, friends of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Medinger, Molly Kunkel, and Mandy Norby, friends of the couple, Tara Fordyce, sister of the groom, and Erin Stark, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Kaylee Hamar, cousin of the bride, and flower girls were Kelsey Hamar, cousin of the bride, and Madison Hanneman, cousin of the groom. Alyssa Porsch, cousin of the groom, was personal attendant to the bride.

Best man was Kevin Wright, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Brad Fordyce, brother of the groom, Ryan Medinger and Matt Fitzke, friends of the groom, and Daniel Harder, brother of the bride. Ushers were Derrick Ortman, Derrick Elman, Clint Pudenz, and Clint Corderman, friends of the groom, and Curt Roland, cousin of the bride. Blake and Brandon Hamar, cousin of the bride, were receiving line attendants.

A reception dinner and dance were held at the Ponca State Park Resource Center. Host and hostesses were Mike and Lori Porsch of Storm Lake, uncle and aunt of the groom, Kenton and Tammy Book and Tony and Anne Stark, uncles and aunts of the bride.

Nikki is a 2005 graduate of Morningside College and is employed at Premier Bank in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. Josh is a 2004 graduate of Morningside College and is a teacher at Sioux City West Middle School. The couple recently started a web-based marketing business, J.N. Fordyce International. Josh and Nikki are at home in Sioux City.
