The deadline of June l for the All-School Picnic reservations is just two weeks away. This is just a reminder to those who haven't already sent a check for tickets, or plan to purchase them at the Chamber of Commerce, to put it at the top of their "to do" list. The All-School Reunion Committee will rely on this information to prepare for registration on Friday and the picnic and All-School Band and Chorus on Saturday. The out-of-town reservations increase daily as the deadline grows closer. To date, there are reservations from 26 states and the Virgin Islands!
The information is also going to be used to begin printing the music required for the All-School Band and Chorus. If individuals haven't volunteered yet, let the committee hear from you by contacting Tom Kruse at: email@example.com or Sharon Fliear at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Tom Kruse and Gary Leatherman are looking forward to a fun and successful event with many familiar faces!
If individual classes are planning a special event or get-together and you would like assistance in getting that information to everyone, please call or e-mail Sharon. Your event will be included in a booklet being prepared for all "ticketed" picnic attendees to receive at registration, and the special supplement being prepared by the Chronicle Times which will be delivered with the weekly Area Advertiser for all Cherokee county residents the week prior to the Sesquicentennial Event. The reunion committee is looking forward to a large turnout at all events scheduled for June 29 - July 2nd, 2006!
