The Gator CX was available for raffle thanks to a donation from the employees of Builders Sharpening in Cherokee.
The Gator CX is geared for light duty work around the yard or farm. It features a composite cargo box that holds 400 pounds and is designed to accept a wide range of accessories from golf bags to a snow blade, towing hitch or canopy. It is about eight feet long and four feet wide, can travel about 15 miles per hour and work in a wide range of terrain.
Tickets are $10 each or three for $25. The drawing will be at 7 p.m. on July 27 at Builders Sharpening. You do not need to be present to win.
Tickets are available at Builders Sharpening, Cook Law Firm, the Copper Cup, City Hall and the Park and Rec office in the Community Center, and from aquatic center committee members. The public is encouraged to watch for posters as tickets become available at additional locations.
"We are really grateful to these fine people for providing us a way of raising what could be a very substantial amount to support this project" said John Cook of the aquatic center committee. "Mark and Pam Pierce were some of the first leadership donors supporting this project, so it is fitting that their employees step up at this critical time."
The Gator CX will be available for your inspection at Builders Sharpening and will be making random appearances around town during June and July.
