Linda Sue Blair, 58, died Nov. 26, at her home in Estherville. Services will be held Dec. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, West Bend. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 1 at the church, Harris Funeral Home of West Bend is in charge of arrangements.
Linda Sue (Gerber) Blair was born on Oct. 30, 1948, in West Bend, to the late Eli and Pearl (Alt) Gerber. Blair was raised in West Bend and graduated from West Bend High School in 1966.
On Sept.. 10, 1966 she was united in marriage to Steven Eugene Blair at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in West Bend. Their marriage was blessed with three daughters. They resided in Eldon, for the last two years.
While in Cherokee, Blair worked at Roosevelt Elementary School in the Special Education Department for 15 years. She then worked for American Identity in Marcus for three years. While residing in Estherville, Blair worked for Stylecraft.
Blair spent her free time devoted to her husband, daughters, and her love of sewing. She was a mother and wife whom never missed and activity that her family was involved in. She loved to read. Linda was blessed with seven grandchildren that she loved spending time with and taking care of. She could often be found outside taking them for walks and taking them on wagon rides.
Blair is survived by her husband, Steve Blair of Estherville; her three daughters, Christine(Terry)Munson of Mitchellville; Cody(Matt)Lugar of Quimby; Cassy(Jerud)Cozine of Aurora, Colo.; 7 grandchildren, Caleb, Austin, Collin, Mattison, William. Ethan, and Pearl; 5 sisters, Donna(Milton)Bond, Pine Island, Minn.; Marian(Aaron)Anliker, Harlan; Judith(Ronald)Girres, West Bend; Frances(Ed)Knobloch, Peoria, Ill.; Bonnie(Randy)Berg, Sioux City; and many neices and nephews.
Blair is preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Eli Gerber and her sister Nancy.
