Linda Sue Scheelhaase, 57, of Sioux City died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 3 at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill Muller of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating.
She was born Nov. 10, 1949, in Sheldon, the daughter of Fredrick James and Elva Jean (DenHerden) Wirth. She grew up and attended school in Marcus. She later moved to Cherokee, then Wakefield, Neb., South Sioux City and then to Sioux City in 2000.
She married Donald Clement in Cherokee. She later married Clarence Scheelhaase in Elk Point, S.D. She was employed with K-Mart for 12 years and was currently employed with Jolly Time Popcorn.
She enjoyed the Sioux City Musketeers and camping.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Tonia and Jeff Abell of Sioux City; a son, Scott Clement of Duluth, Minn.; her father, Fred Wirth of Garden City, Kan.; four brothers, Joel Wirth of Marshalltown, Mike and his wife, Karen Wirth of Wakefield, Neb., Jon & his wife, Tammy Wirth of Sioux City and James Wirth of Lincoln, Neb.; three sisters, Diane and her husband, Dale West of Larrabee, Muriel Wessling of Sioux City and Sherry Moret of Garden City, Kan.
