The bride was given in marriage by her father Dennis Carlson. A dinner and dance following, at the Hickory Park Hall in Ames.
The parents of the bride are Dennis and Kathy Carlson of Hampton, and Kirk and Rebecca Rolland of Cherokee.
Matron of Honor was Michelle Hartman, sister of the bride of Hampton. Bridesmaids were Amy Bell, sister of the groom, from Ames, Alyssa Olberding and Magan Rabey friends of the bride, from Des Moines.
Best Man was Matt Murphy, friend of the couple, from West Des Moines, Jason Bell, brother in-law of the groom, from Ames, Ben Carlson, brother of the bride, from Hampton and Brett Campbell, of Ames, friend of the couple.
Ushers were, Patrick Greenwood of Ames, John Paulsen of Orange City, Jason Cook of Minnesota, Tyson Conley of West Des Moines.
Candlelighters were Caleb and Kadin Bell, nephews of the groom. Ring Bearer was Cooper Bell, nephews of the groom and flower girl was Hope Hartman, niece of the bride.
Vocalist was Amanda Williams, cousin of the groom, selections Being a Parents Prayer, Listen To Our Harts and A Page Is Turned.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Cherokee High School and completed his studies in Electrical Construction in July 2006 and he is currently and Apprentice for Baker Electric in West Des Moines.
The Bride is a 2002 graduate of Cal High School and graduated from Iowa State Dec. 15, 2006 "with distinction" with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education.
The bride and groom are making their home in West Des Moines.
