MARCUS - Hesse Chevrolet, Inc. has provided quality sales and service to the area for 35 years and according to the business owners, Dave Stevenson and John Ryan, and they plan on serving their valued customers for many years to come.

However, as of March 1, 2007, they will be teaming up with Nuebel Chevrolet, Inc. of Le Mars.

The Marcus business will have a new name - Hesse, Inc., and will undergo some big changes to help them maintain their fine tradition.

"The reason for this change has been coming on slowly but steadily. As with many small business owners, our costs kept escalating and we kept working to keep our costs as low as possible," said Stevenson.

"GM's operating costs have constantly been increasing, so we decided the best thing to do was to team up with Nuebels in Le Mars. Many small businesses have folded and have to give in to the super stores. We want to be here for our customers," said Stevenson.

Many folks go to Marcus for service as well as purchasing their vehicles there. The community wants the business to remain open as many have come to depend upon it.

Stevenson continued, "We will continue to provide service and sales and we will continue to have vehicles situated at both of our lots. Our customers can count on us. Our hours and salesmen will remain the same. Nuebel will just save us some expenses."

Ryan added, "Our parts department will remain strong and our mechanics will be here. We are happy to have such loyal customers and we will be here for them."
