Leroy W. Boock, 71, of Aurelia, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007 at his home in Aurelia.
Memorial services were held Monday, February 5th, at 2 p.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee. Pastor Bob Stout officiated. Burial of the cremation ashes was in the Cherokee Memory Gardens. There was no visitation.
He was born April 6, 1935 at Diamond Township in Cherokee County, to Wilbur and Helen (Gries) Boock. He was married to Agnes Todd on March 19, 1961. He had worked as a farm hand for many years and also for Sleezer Select Stock. He was affiliated with the Quimby Baptist Church. He enjoyed horses, collecting toy tractors and playing cards. He had lived in Aurelia the past 22 years, prior to this on a farm Northeast of Aurelia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Agnes on February 19, 2001 and one brother Earl Boock.
He is survived by two daughters: Peggy Langner and her husband Charles of Early; Louise Martin and her husband Steve of Aurelia; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
