Sara Elizabeth Lundell of Cherokee and Brandon Dean Lucas of Cherokee were united in marriage on October 7, 2006 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Cherokee. The bride was given in marriage by her father Mark Lundell. Pastor Ray Hampton officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Ann Lundell of Cherokee and Dan and Janet Lucas, also from Cherokee.

Honored guests included Laurine Lundell, Cletus and Phyllis Henke, Bob and Penny Lundell and Neville and Joanne Lucas.

Serving the bride as the Maid of Honor was Molly Lundell, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Jill Johnston, friend of the couple, Christina Ostovic, cousin of the bride, Crystal Samsel and Bryha Mann, friend of the couple.

Serving the groom as Best Man was his brother Cody Lucas. Groomsmen included Tony Steward, Kyle Samsel, Jim Reitsma and Brian Duvall all friends of the couple.

Serving as Flower girls were Abby Goettsch and Isabella Ostovic.

Ushers for the ceremony included Austin Lucas, Jake Schutt and Jeremiah Mullins.

Personal Attendants were Rachel Halder and Kelly Smith. Sitting at the guest book were Jessica and Josh Einerwold.

Hosting for the event were Tom and Gorrine Lundell, Steve Bugh and Ronda Saxen.

The bride is a 1999 graduate from Washington High School in Cherokee and received a degree in Business Technology from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge and she is currently employed at Valley Pharmacy in Cherokee.

The groom is a 1998 graduate from Washington High School in Cherokee and attended Universal Technical Institute in Omaha and is a certified in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning and is currently employed by Modern Heating and Cooling in Cherokee.
