Fans welcomed Cherokee's state wrestling meet qualifiers home Sunday with ceremonies at Danny's Sports Spot in Cherokee. The Cherokee Booster club welcomed State Tournament wrestlers Tyler Halverson and Nick Loughlin home from Des Moines on Sunday Feb. 25 at Danny's Sports Spot.

Halverson, a senior, finished 4th in the 130-pound class, and Loughlin, a junior, took 7th in the 152-pound class.

Coach Jason Wood thanked the crowd for their support throughout the season, as the Brave cheerleaders, along with parents, grandparents, and other Brave supporters, enjoyed one last get-together.
