The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Sue Prunty of Cherokee. The groom is the son of Scott and Kathy Wallace of Woodbury, Minn.
Allison is the granddaughter of Helene Prunty of Cherokee and Floyd A. Courtright of Storm Lake. Joseph is the grandson of Arline Keenan and Orville and Marge Kemp of Oakdale, Minn.
Given in marriage by her parents, and escorted by her father, the bride chose a satin deep v-neck sleeveless gown with beaded embroidery on the bodice and skirt, complemented by a cathedral length veil.
Allison Green of Washington, D.C. served as Maid of Honor, and Lindsey Mills of Mission, Kansas served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Ann Gordon of Washington, D.C., Erin Webster of Bloomington, Minn. and Distie Profit of Shawnee, Kan. The bride's personal attendant was Melissa Prunty of Mitchell, S.D. Flower girls were Adelyn Prunty of Mitchell, S.D. and Campbell Christy of Urbandale.
Jeff Apel of Chicago, Ill. and Dr. Ryan O'Malley of Ann Arbor, Mich. served as best men. Groomsmen included Matt Sahag, Ben Parrott and Kirk Schuler, all of Des Moines. Ring bearers were William Prunty of Mitchell, S.D. and Grant Christy of Urbandale.
The couple's siblings served as ushers at the ceremony - Jayna and Kerry Wallace of Woodbury, Minn; John Prunty of Mitchell, S.D., and Evan Prunty of Eden Prairie, Minn.
Laura Zinn of Ankeny and Janel Hairder of Mendota Heights, Minnesota were readers. Vocalists included Allison Green and John Mills. Ceremony music was provided by Sherry Zinn.
Cocktails and a seated dinner and dance reception at the Hy-Vee Conference Center in West Des Moines followed the ceremony. Hosts were Bob and Linda Zinn of Ankeny and Steven and Heather O'Malley of Woodbury, Minn.
The bride is a graduate of Luther College and Drake University Law School. She is a corporate and transactional attorney at the law firm of Dreher, Simpson and Jensen, P.C in Des Moines. The groom is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Drake University Law School. He is an attorney in Des Moines with the law firm of Cook, Brown and Scott, P.L.C., practicing in civil and criminal litigation.
After a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico the couple is at home in Ankeny.
