Aurelia grad helps coach National championship soil judging team

AMES -- A team of Iowa State University students recently finished first in the 2007 American Society of Agronomy National Collegiate Soil Judging Contest. Twenty-one universities participated in the contest, which was hosted by Utah State University April 15 -- 20. Iowa State team members' hometowns include Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and Bryant, Newton, Wesley, Creston, Greenfield, Boone, and Johnston, Iowa.

Coaches of the Iowa State team were Agronomy professor Jon Sador and Agronomy Graduate Student Amber Anderson. Anderson, the daughter of Randy and Deborah Anderson, graduated from Aurelia High School
