Susan Glouser, 56, of Cherokee, died Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.
Memorial services were held Saturday, June 6. Rev. Ray Hampton will officiate. Susan was born Oct. 10, 1950 in Carroll, to James and Mildred (Buddin) Glouser. She attended school in the Cherokee school system.
Susan worked for Gregg's Nursing Home from 1965-1974. She also had worked for the Cherokee Mental Health Institute as a kitchen worker, and later at the Happy Chef restaurant as a dishwasher. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, horses, and going to the casinos.
Glouser was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Glouser.
Survivors include sisters, Linda Joy, of Hollywood, Calif. And Jill Batz, of Des Moines, brothers, Mike Glouser and his wife Katie of Cherokee; Jeff Glouser of Salt Lake City, Utah; Eric Glouser of Boise, Idaho; a special friend, Joe Eyer of Cherokee; also two nephews, Billy and Jeremy Glouser.
