AURELIA - The Aurelia Bulldogs faced another tough Northwest Conference foe here in Friday night baseball action, falling to the Storm Lake St. Mary's Panthers 12-0, in five innings.

Senior hurler Tanner Winterhof pitched well for the 'Dogs, giving up only one earned run on six hits, while striking out four in 4 1/3 innings pitched. Unfortunately for the Aurelia nine, the Bulldogs again had some defensive lapses, and it cost them on the scoreboard.

Offensively, junior Jared Bruce had two hits in three at-bats, and also stole three bases. Sophomore Camrin Meyer also had a 2-3 night at the plate, and fellow soph Kody Pinkerton was 1-2. Eighth grader Cody Wilson got hit by a pitch and stole a base.
