Braves drop second game of season

Tuesday, July 10, 2007

EMMETSBURG - Cherokee out-hit Emmetsburg 7-4, and the E-Hawks committed five errors to the Braves' one in Lakes Conference action here on July 2nd, but the #1-ranked Braves left 11 runners on base, and "just didn't get the big hit when we needed it," according to coach Scott Koch, as he summed up the team's 3-2 Lakes Conference loss to Emmetsburg. The loss was the Braves' first in 14 conference games this season, and just their second over all, against 23 wins.
