Beverly Ann Schultz, 77, died Aug. 8, 2007, at Absolute Nursing Home in Gasport, New York, following a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's.
Beverly was born Jan. 9, 1930 in O'Brien County, the daughter of Ray and Alice (Fraser) Schultz. She attended and graduated from Peterson High School in 1948.
She married Richard Schurman in June 1950 at Sutherland and to this union two children were born. They resided in Buffalo, N.Y.
Beverly returned to Iowa and worked at the Cherokee Mental Health Institute and later returned to Buffalo, where she was employed as a secretary at Rupp Rental. She was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills football team and enjoyed motorcycling.
Survivors are daughter Gayle Ann and husband Michael Kozak of Gasport, N.Y.; son Matthew Schurman of Minneapolis; granddaughter Henni Jo Kozak; a brother Richard and Nancy Schultz of Cushing, Minn.; a sister, Cheryl and Melburn Schmidt of Cherokee and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Heather Ann; and brother Robert.
Graveside services will be in Oakhill Cemetery in Peterson, Iowa.
