On June 10, 2007, Rachel Lynne Fraker, of New Braunfels, Texas and Michael John Boothby, of Marcus, were united in marriage. The ceremony was held at Cross Lutheran Church in New Braunfels, Texas with Rev. Donald Fraker, father of the bride officiating.

Parents of the couple are Donald and Sharon Fraker of New Braunfels, Texas and Robert and Jane Boothby of Marcus. Grandparents of the couple are Donald and Patricia Fraker of New Braunfels, Texas and Vernie and Ferne Nicolaisen of Cherokee.

The bride wore a white strapless taffeta gown with a corset top and a full pick up style skirt embellished with clusters of pearls and silver beads. She carried a bouquet of orange tiger lilies, red, orange and yellow roses with purple and yellow statis.

Attending the bride as Maid of Honor was Janel Ehrman, aunt of the bride. The bride's attendants also included Lisa Hinz, cousin of the bride, Manda Boothby, sister of the groom, Mindy Thomas, sister of the groom, Jessica Bangert and Tiffany Danley, friends of the bride and Maura Viehl, friend of the couple. The bridesmaids wore dark red two-piece, floor length dresses and carried bouquets of red and orange roses, yellow daises and purple statis.

Attending the groom as Best Man was Dan Shea, friend of the groom. The groom's attendants also included Timothy Fraker and Jonathon Fraker, brothers of the bride. Colin Modelerman and Eric Dunn, friends of the groom.

Ushers for the ceremony were Joel Gilbert and Jack Gilbert, friends of the groom. Guest book attendant was Sarah Rrhme. Johanna Ehrman, cousin of the bride and Ellie Juergensen, friend of the couple were the flower girls. Christian Thomas, nephew of the groom and Samuel Murdy, cousin of the bride, were the ring bearers.

Rachel is a 2003 graduate of New Braunfels Christian Academy and a 2007 graduate of Concordia University, Seward, Neb. with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

Michael is a 2001 graduate of Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn High School and a 2005 graduate of Concordia University, Seward, Neb. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo.

The couple will reside in Kaukauna, Wis. for one year while Michael serves as a vicar at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna. Rachel will be teaching preschool at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fremont, Wis.
