Kenneth C. Ludvigson, 62, of Washta, died on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at his home in Washta.
Funeral services were held on Oct. 11 at the Quimby United Methodist Church. Rev. Carolyn Hollar officiated. Burial will be in the Holstein Cemetery at a later date.
Kenneth was born Jan. 12, 1945, at Holstein, to Clarence and LaVerna (LaFrentz) Ludvigson. He graduated from Willow Community School in 1964. He served in the U. S. Army from 1966 to 1967 during the Vietnam War.
He was married to Kathleen Meadows Fuhrman on Feb. 15, 1972, at Elk Point, S.D. He had lived in the Washta area all his life. He had worked as the maintenance man for the Town of Quimby for 29 years, retiring due to health reasons. He was a member of the Quimby Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son Lief Erick Ludvigson.
