Molly Smith of Granville and Doug Buckendahl of Aurelia are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching wedding. The couple is planning their wedding ceremony for Dec. 29, 2007 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cherokee, with a reception to be held at Western Iowa Tech in Cherokee.

Molly is the daughter of John and Marcia Smith of Aurelia, and is a graduate of Aurelia High School. She attended Northwestern College, earning a BA in Biology Education and Elementary Education. She is currently a Science Teacher and coach at Granville Spalding.

Doug is the son of Jerry and Vernie Buckendahl of Alta, and is a graduate of Alta High School. He attended Iowa Lakes Comm. College for Business, and is currently a Service Advisor at Rasmussen Ford in Storm Lake and co-owner of Pixelthis Photography.
