Jessica Ferris and Tyler Kannegieter were united in marriage on June 30 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cherokee, with Pastor James Steen officiating. The reception and dance were held at the Alta Community Center. Parents of the couple are Bob and Karen Ferris of Meriden and Rob and Diane Kannegieter of Aurelia.

Serving the bride as maid honor was Jesse Erdman. Bridesmaids were Ashley Schultz, Baley Petersen, Nikki VanOort and Lanaya Kannegieter. Junior Bridesmaid was Alyssa Trapp and flower girl was Addisyn VanOort.

The Best Man was Drew Weiland, and the groomsmen were Matt Berg, Kelly Kannegieter, Mark VanOort, and Ryan Ferris. Junior Groomsman was Kory VanOort, and ring bearer was Garrett Trapp.

Guest were ushered by Tyler Nelson, Caleb Goodburn, Nate Lewis and John Ireland.

Tyler and Jessica are at home in rural Cherokee. Jessica works for First Coop of Aurelia in the LP Department and Tyler is a swine specialist for A.T. Livestock.
