G-H boys falter in loss to MVAO

HOLSTEIN - The Galva-Holstein boys "played a real good first half (down 26-23 at the half), but came out a little flat in the third quarter, and Maple Valley/Anthon-Oto took advantage of it to push the lead to 12 at the end of the third quarter," said Pirates' coach Bob Lee.

"Maple Valley did a real good job of using the clock in the fourth quarter," Lee continued, "and put us in a position where we had to foul to stop the clock. Unfortunately for us, they didn't miss many of those free throws." The final score was Maple Valley/Anthon-Oto 64, Galva-Holstein 51.
