The parents of Lauri Elliott and Kiel Stephens are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their children.

Lauri is the daughter of Steve and Lois Elliott of Cherokee. She is a 2003 graduate of Washington High School and a 2007 graduate of Wayne State College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources. She is currently the Assistant Human Resources Manager for Cargill in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Kiel is the son of Ken and Terri Stephens of Cherokee. Kiel is a 2002 graduate of Washington High School and a 2007 graduate of Wayne State College, with a Bachelor's Degree in Mid-level Education. He will be teaching and coaching in the Ottumwa area this summer and fall.

The couple will be married at St. Paul's United Methodist Church on March 29, 2008 followed by a reception at the Western Iowa Tech Convention Center.
