Matthew Ferrier and Sybil Reinert [Click to enlarge]

Sybil Kirsten Reinert and Matthew William Ferrier, both of Des Moines, are pleased to announce their engagement and plans for a May 10 wedding. The couple will be married at Our Lady's Immaculate Church in Ankeny and the reception will be held at the Hilton in Des Moines.

Sybil is the daughter of Paul and Susan Reinert of Cherokee. She is a 2002 Washington High School graduate and received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Iowa State University in May 2006 and she earned her Masters Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical engineering) from ISU on Dec. 2007. She is currently works for Allender-Batzke Inc. in Des Moines.

Matthew is the son of Will and Patricia Ferrier of Galesburg, Ill. He is a 1999 graduate of Galesburg High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University in May of 2005. He is currently employed with Howard R. Green Company in Des Moines.
