Barbeque benefits Timmins

Monday, April 14, 2008

KINGSLEY - There will be a Benefit Barbeque accepting free-will donations for Bradley Timmins from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 20, in Kingsley.

Timmins suffered a stroke in early August, 2007, and has spent nearly four months in hospitals in Sioux city, Le Mars, and Sioux Falls, S.D. He is currently confined to a wheel chair in his Pierson home. The benefit is to help Brad's family with a portion of the medical expenses involved.

Timmins, who formerly managed O'Reilly Auto Parts in Cherokee, is an avid Harley Davidson and muscle car fan, and organizers encourage all those attending the benefit "To ride 'em or drive 'em if you got 'em. The louder the better!"

The Benefit Barbeque is at 115 Barre St., one block west of 2nd and Main Streets in downtown Kingsley.
