Jessi Thill and Wesley Showers of Broomfield, Colo. are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching wedding. They were engaged May 16, 2007 on the beach in Santa Barbara, Calf., and the couple will be married on Sept. 6, 2008 in Okoboji.

Jessi is the daughter of Steve and Gail Thill of Cherokee. She is a graduate of Washington High School and Iowa State University, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Family and Child Services. She is currently a licensed producer for State Farm Insurance in Lafayette, Colo.

Wesley is the son of Ellie Lake of Boulder, Colo. and Richard Showers of Longmont, Colo. He is a graduate of Skyline High School in Colorado. Wesley is a licensed producer for State Farm Insurance in Broomfield, Colo.

A honeymoon in Mexico is planned for November.
