Cherokee Roosevelt Elementary School held the annual World Awareness Day in mid-April to promote the different cultures from around the world. Students were encouraged to dress in costumes from around the world and the winners of the best costumes were: (left to right) Skyler Staver (Australia), Tracie Tuttle (Germany), Makaelyn Glienke (Africa), Christian Lundy (India), Emma Wolterman (Sweden), Priscilla Salazar (Mexico), Trey Bush (Mexico) and Jasmine Ramirez (Japan).
