LE MARS - Spirit Lake won a Lakes Conference girls golf triangular here Tuesday night after carding a 193, to runner-up Cherokee's 231, and Le Mars' 241.

Ashley Neilsen of Spirit Lake was medalist with a 44, and her sister Nikki Neilsen was runner-up with a 48.

Low medal for Cherokee wereSara Sarchet 52, Amanda Callhan 58, Kelsey Ludwig 60, and Ally Curry 61. Also for Cherokee, Emily Cook shot a 70, and Danielle Hansen shot 71.

In JV actionSpirit Lake carded a 235 to Cherokee's 274. Le Mars did not fill out a complete JV squad. Leah Hilpiper of Spirit Lake was medalist with a 49.

For Cherokee, Jessica Cook shot a 60, Jenna Phipps 67, Tonya Stowater 70, and Maddy Miller 77. Emily Anderson shot 79 for Cherokee.
