Visiting Spencer swept Cherokee Washington High's girls tennis team 9-0 in Lakes Conference action here on April 28th.

In varsity singles action for Cherokee, Shannon Schroeder lost 10-2 to Hannah Maertens at number one, Allie Parker lost 10-1 to Emily Wassom at two, Demi Dunn lost 10-3 to Beth Druvenga at three, Michelle McGarry lost 10-8 to Jennifer Barnett at four, Sofie Seliger lost 10-0 to MacKenzie Kabrick at five, and Marissa Leissler lost 10-2 to Holly McCloud at six.

In doubles action for Cherokee, Schroeder and Parker fell 10-0 to Wassom and Druvenga at number one, Dunn and McGarry fell 10-3 to Maertens and McCloud at two, and Seliger and Leissler fell 10-2 to Barnett and Kabrick at three.

Spencer's Tigers also won the JV match 8-1.

In JV action for Cherokee in singles, Korriane Aguirre lost 9-8 on a 7-2 tie-breaker at number one, Sydney Morton lost 8-4 at two, Sanna Miller lost 8-1 at three, Amanda Kohn lost 8-4 at four, Hillary Wilkie won 9-7 at five, and Aurora Buschkamp lost 8-4 at six.

In JV doubles, Aguirre and Morton lost 8-5 at number one, Miller and Kohn lost 8-5 at two, and Jenae Lundell and Amber Melton lost 8-2 at three.
