SHELDON - Host Sheldon carded a 220 team score to win a Lakes Conference girls golf triangular here on April 28, with Cherokee finishing runner-up with a 234, and Hull Western Christian following with a 250.

Based on criteria, Sheldon's Sarah Wahlstrom was medalist with a 53, and Cherokee's Sara Sarchet was runner-up medalist, also with a 53.

Other low medal for the Washington High girls were Ally Curry 59, Kelsey Ludwig 59, and Emily Cook 63. Also for Cherokee, Amanda Callahan scored a 66, and Danielle Hansen 70.

In JV action, Sheldon carded a 271, and Cherokee 276. HWC did not field a JV squad.

Low for Cherokee were Jessica Cook 63, Jenna Phipps 69, Maddy Miller 71, and Juie Miller 73. Also for Cherokee, Emily Anderson shot an 80, and Brittany Cates 82.
