LEMARS - The Aurelia boys' golf squad continued their good post-season play at the Class 1-A District Golf meet here on Friday. The Bulldog team finished third, just four strkes back of a strong Newell-Fonda team, 322-326. Hinton took the team title with 312 strokes. The Bulldogs will not go on to the state as a team, but senior Greg Kolpin celebrated his graduation by shooting a round of 76, tying him for fourth lowest round, and he will go on to play in the State 1A meet this Friday and Saturday at the Spring Valley Course in Livermore.

Other Bulldog golf scores Friday included Nick Felten, 80 (10th place); and Jarrett Heubrock and Camrin Meyer, 85 (tied for 24th). Dalton Jones and Nick Hirschman also played for the Aurelia squad.
