Central Bank is pleased to announce Central Insurance at Central Bank has purchased Miller-Mac Insurance of Cherokee. The purchase is expected to close July 1.

On July 1, Miller-Mac will relocate to Central Insurance at Central Bank on the second floor, 401 W. Main St. in Cherokee. Tom Rutter, Dan Buck, Nancy Nielsen and Margaret Stanberg will join Central Insurance's current staff including Scott Weber, Ken Slater, Pam Leinbaugh and Pat Schallehn.

"Miller-Mac customers will not experience any type of service interruption during the transition," said Scott Weber, Agency Manager.

"Central Insurance is a good fit," said Tom Rutter, Co-owner of Miller-Mac Insurance. "We feel the combined agencies will do an excellent job serving the insurance needs of our customers for years to come."

"Miller-Mac has been an important part of Cherokee for 80 years," said Chuck Wulfsen, President of Central Bank. "They've built their agency on solid principles, family values and a commitment to the customers and communities they serve. At Central Insurance, we value the same principles and look forward to building upon the same tradition of service Miller-Mac has established."
