Wilson TV has new owners

Randy and Sandy Pritts have announced the sale of their business, Wilson TV and Appliance to Steve and Jane Ebert.

The long-time Cherokee business features a wide range of products Bosch, GE, Tempur-pedic and I.G. electronics.

The Eberts plan to continue the name of the store and the present product line while adding a few new products such as Green Egg grills and Holland Grills.

Randy and Sandy Pritts took ownership of the business from Ray and Priscilla Wilson in January 1994 at the corner of Fifth Street and Main Street. They successfully expanded the product line since that time.

In the fall of 1998, the business was moved to its current location at 211 West Main Street. The interior of the building was renovated including the basement level where five different showrooms were added.

Randy and Sandy Pritts have expressed gratitude to all their loyal friends and customers who helped make the 15 years a success.

The store will be closed all day on Monday, June 30, for final inventory and closing. The store will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

Steve and Jane Ebert are lifelong residents of northwest Iowa. Steve has been the store manager for Coleman Appliances in Sioux City for the past seven years. Jane works at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center.

They have three children Nick is 23, Melissa is 21 and Randi is 17. Their youngest attends high school in Moville where she will be a senior in the fall.
