Carmen M. Osborn Teoli, 52, of Cherokee, passed away on July 13, 2008 at the Cherokee Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cherokee, with Rev. Magrey deVega officiating. It was Carmen's wish to be cremated. The Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee was in charge of the arrangements.
Carmen was born May 31, 1956 at Attleboro, Mass. to Emery and Doris (Beauvais) Teoli. She worked as a mental health counselor, and was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she helped with Vacation Bible School and was a Church Circle member She also volunteered at New Leaf and enjoyed the Book Group at the Cherokee Public Library and also loved spending time with her dog "Eli."
She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her daughter Christina Louise Osborn Vierra and her husband, Jay, of Atlanta, Ga.; her mother Doris Beauvais of Sparta, Wis.; two grandchildren, Matthew and Alexandra "Baby" Vierra; two brothers and one sister: Emery W. Teoli Jr. and his wife Theresa of Sparta, Wis., Joseph P. Teoli and his wife Louise of Marionville, Mo.and Mary Z. Porter and her husband Brian of Aurelia; two nephews and two nieces: James Robert Teoli of Norfolk, Virginia; Daniel William Porter of Aurelia; Laura Teoli and Elizabeth Teoli both of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
