Poker-run held for Relay For Life

On July 20th, the Little Sioux Red Power Club held a poker-run for Relay For Life. The event drew 19 tractors that traveled from the Cherokee County Fairgrounds to Spring Lake Park to the Schoon Addition to Hy-Vee then to The Gardens. The next stop was the Cherokee Villa and Country Side Estates before they ended back at the fairgrounds. The $45 payout for First place in the poker-run went to Stephanie Rupp of Omaha, the $27 payout for Second place went to Harold Johnson of Cleghorn and Virgil Pyle of Cherokee took the $18 payout for Third place. After the payout of the winning hands $150 went to Relay For Life. Photo contributed
